Private Client East Yorkshire
This garden was a blank canvass apart from the buildings and the hedges. The client wanted an Italian cottage looking design with the oppertunity to close mow the grass and hava a lush garden feel.
I designed shaped beds along the sides of the garden that extend out into the lawn to create the feel of different garden rooms.
A full mix of evergreens, conifers, perennials and annuals were in the design so there will be year round colour. Also in this planting package was thhousands of spring bulbs in drifts to light up the garden in the early growing season. As a bonus and mixed in the borders there would be many different type of fruit and vegetables too, to ensure the garden is a working kitchen garden, providing for the family.
